Greetings and welcome to our new Rhinoskin blog! I want to take a moment and thank everyone who stopped by our booth at Macworld. We had a great show and owe it all to you, our customers. The response to our new aluminum case for the Macbook and Macbook Pro was terrific. Our colorful shuffle covers are still a crowd favorite.
Your feedback is important since you are actually the ones buying and using our cases. Rhinoskin has some very devoted customers and I enjoyed hearing your stories at Macworld and also reading your emails. I started this blog because I feel it's important to keep the dialogue going throughout the year. As we develop new cases for new devices I would like to hear from you. So please, use this as your forum to tell us what you like about Rhinoskin and what we can do better.
Thank you for your continued support and I look forward to hearing from you!

This could be the start of something awesome!
Got a question for the product manager... is there a Kensington security hole for the current model of the aluminum hard case for the MacBook?
There is no opening for the lock slot. The only access while the case is closed would be for the power adapter.
I would love to see an alum hard case for the Asus Mypal A626 PDA. I really loved using Rhinoskins on my HP PDA's I'd like to continue it with my new one too! You guys rock. You really make great products!
I have used several of your Palm PDA case and each one gets soft around the belt clip button after a month or so of use. This makes it difficult to slide the case into the belt clip. I have to take them to the leather shop and have a stiffener sewn around the button. They charge me a fortune. An impovement here would be great.
Thanks for listening.....Gene
I am actually on my second Rhinoskin case for my Axim V51.
I have to say that it has done a wonderful job at protecting my pda from alot of abuse.
Only two problems I have ever had
1. the hinge pin tends to slide out even under light to normal use. Have to keep pushing it back in place.
2. The belt clips tend to not last very long. I have probably gone through 10 of them easily. Would like to see a more durable clip system if possible.
All in all I recommend Rhinoskin to all my friends.
I have an old universal PDA wallet (black leather with the zipper) that's held my ancient Palm IIIxe, my Zire 31, and currently my TX. I love it! Well-made, just the right amount of pockets for memory and business cards, and room for a pen/stylus. A little shoe-polish once in a while and it's wonderful. Love your stuff!
But I was curious if you still had any of the nylon version of this PDA wallet left in some corner of your stockroom. I'd buy one if you did!
(I also had one of your aluminum hardcases for the Palm III. It was the next best thing to Kevlar. :) )
I got my first Rhinoskin for my Palm Treo 600. Since I drive a truck and use my treo during operations, the Rhinoskin is required armor to protect my Treo.
Unfortantly when I upgraded to a Treo680 there wasnt a Rhinoskin:-(
I got out my dremel tool and started cutting holes and slots so the camera, stylus and speaker where not covered.. I added black duct tape to the inside to fill in the voids.
Thoughts for future products:
1) I don't use the post because i keep the device in a pouch that offers better rain protection. A place to attach a lanyard would be very nice. This would prevent loss by dropping and prevent actual contact with the ground.
2) the paino hinge pin slides out:-( I have pinched the hindge at both ends so the pin cannot slide out. It would be nice of the hingdge pins came captive.
3) Make a Rhinoskin for the whole Palm Treo line.
4) On the door for the Treo Rhino skins, it would be nice if the top, when closed extended over the top of the device to protect it from rain when the door is closed. This would require opening the door to get at the top, but that is fast and easy
5) i liked the SD card storage in the door on the older Treo Rhinoskins. It would be nice if there was one on the inside back. It would require removing the device, but it would be great place to store the cards

6} I have and love my Jawbone blue tooth headset and would love a Rhino skin to keep it in when it is not living in my ear.
